A video posted yesterday by Sonam Wangchuk the Indian engineer, innovator education reformist and the founding-director of the Students’ Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL), on his social media “X” platform, he begins with saying, the women have ended their 10 days fast, in which more than 300 women took part, sleeping in an open blanket under the stars every night straight up for 10 days.

Now the Youth is said to take over the fast starting from the 6th of April, which will be further followed by a “Pashmina March”, their way of a peacefull protest on the 7th of April, for their rights as promised by the Indian Government.
He said “they were told many supporters, journalists, and leaders are coming from different parts of the country to participate in this peaceful march to their pasturelands on the borders.

He warmly welcomes everyone who wants to be a part of this peaceful March. Further saying “we don’t have any wish or urge to fight with the government but we are rather choosing a peacefull way to reach our rights”.
