
PM Narendra Modi arrived in Varanasi yesterday, a day prior to him from officially filing for nomination for the, 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.
Apart for him filing for nominations, he was seen visiting many places in Varanasi.
He stared off Monday with a 5-km road show, along with Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister Yogi Adityanath who accompanied him during the roadshow which was attended by thousands of people.

After which he was seen seeking blessings from Baba Vishwanath, “for happiness, health and prosperity for all his 140 crore family members” at Baba Vishwanath’s Temple, as shared by him on his X handle.

He started his next day visiting Dashwamedha Ghat, for paying his respects to Ma Ganga in Kashi, a video of which was shared on his X handle. After that he visited and worshiped, ‘Kashi ke Kotwal’ Shree Kal Bhairav Ji.

After all these he officially signed the nomination papers from the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat, a constituency where he has secured wins with larger margin for two consecutive terms.

He was accompanied by several senior BJP leaders, including Union Minister Amit Shah and party’s national president JP Nadda, were at the collectorate for his nomination filing. Many members of the BJP’s NDA were also present.
Prior to this he won in the last Lok Sabha Elections with more than 6,74,664 votes and a vote share of 63.6 per cent.
And is aiming to win this time as well.
