Over 23 lakhs lost by a Delhi women, in a Stock Market Fraud.

A 32 year old women lost over 23.5lakhs in another case of cyber fraud by investing to a ‘Fake’ website.

According to reports, she started by investing little by little, after gaining initial returns. But this time she got none back and was failed to contact the accused.

She started trading by investing rupees 1,000 and got back rupees 1,300 building her trust to keep eventually investing more money.
The women came across this “fake” website on social media that promised her high profits by trading in stock market. Later when she contacted the website, the accused convinced her to invest money in the website.

According to reports, she filed a complaint against this, at the Northeast Cyber Police Station on April 10th. After which the accused a 29 year old man identified as Mohammad Daud from Maujpur in Delhi was traced.

The report says that the police have Ben able to recover rupees 8.55 lakhs from his bank account and the rest has been transferred to different bank accounts from his.
