Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), released its 10th list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election of 2024 on Wednesday.
This list features 8 new names out of which 7 are from Uttar Pradesh, and one from Chandigarh, where the party has clearly replaced sitting MP Kirron Kher, with Sanjay Tandon in Chandigarh. Not only that but, SS Ahuliwalia has also replaced Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh from Asansol of West Bengal, who was earlier fielded by them.
S.S Ahuluwalia from BJP is in opposition to TMC’s starface Shatrugan Singha in Asansol. Although the initial list viewed Pawan Singh representing Asansol from BJP, but was later changed due to Singh’s refusal to contest from this constituency.
Along with this, the list features other names like :-

● Praveen Patel: Phulupur.
● Neeraj Tripathi: Allahabad.
● B.P Saroj: Machhlishahr (SC)
● Jaiveer Singh Thakur: Manipur.
● Paras Nath Rai: Ghazipur.
● S.S Ahuluwalia: Asansol.
● Sanjay Tandon: Chandigarh.
